For nearly a decade, Washington Charter School Development has provided leaders of charter schools in under-resourced communities with expert guidance and access to philanthropic resources to build long-term facilities. WCSD was formed by Pacific Charter School Development (PCSD) to carry out its mission of creating long-term homes for high-quality charter schools in Washington State. WCSD has expanded across Washington State, deploying over $60 million to develop 20 school facility projects.

Pacific Charter School Development was founded with philanthropic support from NewSchools Venture Fund, The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, and The Walton Family Foundation to create an organization of real estate and education professionals to scope, build, and invest in high-quality charter schools serving under-resourced communities.
