Project Overview

Summit Olympus High School is located in a building that once housed a pick-packing plant near the Tacoma Dome. The building was constructed in 1929 and renovated in 1971. WCSD delivered the new high school in 2015.

The facility consists of three levels of classrooms, a STEM room, and an administrative space, as well as the large open learning environments that are the hallmark of the Summit campuses. The school also preserved many of the building’s unique features, including the brick facades, interior columns, and large windows overlooking downtown.
